Instrumental & Singing Tuition Letter14th September 2017
Instrumental & Singing Tuition – Autumn 2017
If you would like your son/daughter to continue with or start instrumental or singing lessons for this term in the following areas, please fill in the form below and hand in the completed form to a member of the Music Department.
* Guitar & Bass
* Steel Pans
* Brass (we currently do not have a brass teacher but if there is enough interest I will organise one)
Students will receive ten lessons per term (please see the attached calendar) and students can have lessons on more than one instrument. As a school we will provide lessons on one instrument or singing free of charge. If you would like your son or daughter to have lessons on a second instrument or singing the cost of these additional lessons is £70 per term (£7 per lesson). As the additional lessons are paid for they will always be individual 20 minute lessons. Payment for these lessons will be available on ParentPay from Monday 25th September.
We will also provide qualified and experienced teachers who will plan and deliver engaging lessons, give students the opportunity to enter external grade exams and loan instruments at a minimal cost of £5/term. In return, students will be expected to attend at least one school ensemble per week, attend all lessons at the correct time and practice for between 10 minutes and 2 hours per day, depending on age/level.
Registration forms should be handed directly to a member of the Music Department by Wednesday 20th September. Late entries will not be accepted and students will not be able to start lessons until after Christmas. If you have any questions please do email me at email@example.com
